Ex Olympian, Bill Roycroft has died aged 96. He competed in the Rome Olympics when in his sixties, I think. I remember he was injured and signed himself out of hospital to help Australia win a gold medal.

    Tough old guy.

Just saw it on the news.

Seems he lived a very intersting life and has a real passion for riding. One of our oldest olympians alive, sad loss but what a life!

A wonderful olympian, all australians (including the non-horsey ones) should be proud of. He achieved alot and has done alot for the sport. Rest in peace Bill Roycroft.
