heyall, just wondering what the likelyhood of a paly being produced from a bay sabiano over a paly mare?
am sending samples of possible dads hair off for testing soon, but just wondering if this is at all possible?
    cheers

    From the trusty colour calculator
    14.58% - Buckskin Sabino
    14.58% - Buckskin
    14.58% - Bay Sabino
    14.58% - Bay
    8.33% - Palomino Sabino
    8.33% - Palomino
    8.33% - Chestnut Sabino
    8.33% - Chestnut
    2.08% - Smoky Black Sabino
    2.08% - Smoky Black
    2.08% - Black Sabino
    2.08% - Black

Chances go up if the sire carries red:

    12.50% - Palomino Sabino
    12.50% - Palomino
    12.50% - Chestnut Sabino
    12.50% - Chestnut
    10.94% - Buckskin Sabino
    10.94% - Buckskin
    10.94% - Bay Sabino
    10.94% - Bay
    1.56% - Smoky Black Sabino
    1.56% - Smoky Black
    1.56% - Black Sabino
    1.56% - Black

However, if sire is homozygous for black, your chances of palomino are zilch.

    21.88% - Buckskin Sabino
    21.88% - Buckskin
    21.88% - Bay Sabino
    21.88% - Bay
    3.13% - Smoky Black Sabino
    3.13% - Smoky Black
    3.13% - Black Sabino
    3.13% - Black
