I thought the scoring system was good however I really loved the judge I think....All Arabian??? That explained her placings at the completion of each class (even if she repeated herself over and over :p).

Midas you were standing next to us in the yard before leisa took Mali in for Marshalling, Iam so facinated by your horses facial markings, I also LOVE your horse he is a true beauty. When he lifted his head he has splotches all under his head, he is gorgeous, and well done by the way.

I thought it may have been you, but I wasn't too sure
He has pretty unusual markings , hate to say it but that's why I bought him lol :p thank you so much that's a lovely thing to say!:)

I hope you're not disheartened by the show, It is only one judges opinion and he is a growing boy :)

Hi Arnie, thank you for that,I wondered how he behaved with the other stallions,as I didn't see him as I was busy rushing down to get into the ring to try and catch him.Everyone, the judge included, told me how good he looked, all I could feel was embarrassment.Someone said in an earlier post the way to catch a horse was,"sound like a carrot",I had real carrots but all he did was eat them and run away again.Who says horses are dumb animals? You sound just like me Arnie, you have King, and i have Duke, and anything else is next in line.

Kais, truley it is relaxing:)* - in previous yrs Ted & I have gone from a leadrein class with my niece riding, to a native costume, to a ridden endurance horse class will all classes running straight after each other and we would normally have at least 2 of our horses in the costume so it is always flat out.

Luckily our horses are used to having gear literally ripped on & off them in the middle of the collecting ring - they just stand there and put up with it.

Thanks Vee and Kiley :)) I'm still over the moon!

Oh thankyou manocaaron. Yes I'm very lucky to have him, he's a gem of a horse, and everything just seems to be falling into place with him now. You should have mentioned you were a stockie! If it's not too much trouble could you please pass on any photos you have of him? Thanks again for your lovely comments!

Thanks IPT, we are really proud of what these 2 horses have achieved, especcially over the past 2-3 yrs. Who knew when we bred them that they would gain a Tom Quilty Buckle and Australian Champion awards, as a breeder it is most rewarding.

Good luck with Party at the Aussies
