Any experience with Santa Fe Western saddles? Or advice on what to get?

Hi guys :) I've bought myself a new QH colt (recently gelded!) but my current saddle doesn't fit his wide shoulders.
I'm sticking mainly to trail riding, but I also want to attend a social riding club where they do western trail, reining and cattle.
My dilemma is do I go with a western saddle - new are mostly from $3000 and second hand from $1500 and up, or do I to with a synthetic Ammo swinging fender? I'm currently borrowing a friends ammo that fits him well, but originally planned on getting a western. I was hoping not to spend a fortune if I won't be competing, but maybe I should to get a good quality saddle.
So will a Santa Fe be a good enough quality? Is Ammo? Or should I just get one made?
Any suggestions, advice and point if view welcome :)

    Thank you :)

your new saddle is a little bit expensive.so that I do not think it is a good choice.. Well. there are still many good brandsI have used a Harrison Howard for 3 yrs.
Durable I think. The point is the price is reasonable. recommendations only.
