Very good point and well said......(eoroe nodding while she mulls it over)
(but then thinks it over..) But isnt that what we are doing the whole time when we assume the correct way to handle/ train them. Assuming we know that correct thing for them? The communicators that speak as thought the horses are saying the things...im a bit ....OFAY about. Horses dont speak like us! It just puts me off
Oh...this a hard thread! well done its making to many part of my brain work at once! LOL!
I dont want anyone talking to my horses, god knows what lies they will tell pmsl.
Yourr horses can't be trusted, hey Sharaway?
"mum starves me!!!" PMSL
"mum hit me with the carrot stick" PMSL (That's what Maya would say!!!!)
You dont assume anything with your training and handling, the horses "actions" are evidence that they have been successful. They may not respond verbally but will respond with physical actions.
I am sure that mine would say..
"She beats me and starves me and works me until I am skin and bone, forces me to go out to scary shows, s"
and that would just be Chantelle pmsl.
Tayla I would get
"she used to love me the most, now she only ever comes near me to abuse me with needles and apply stinging stuff to me"
From Jaffa I would get
"do I even have a mum?"
Lies all lies lol.
Well personally I feel I do assume something when I train. we are assuming that what we have always done, how we have always trained is the correct way to acheive the result. It is but for us - we havent really had the oppurtunity to sit down and have a discussion with out horses and say, when I ask you this, and you respond, is that the best way?
They might turn around and say - jees woman - your complicating things - just do this.
I feel we are assuming we know the best way for them, as thats all we can do We can never really have an equall communication - they just cant get their muzzles around our 'm's LOL!
Interesting thread.... I have a lot of clients who are interested in getting an animal communicator out and often ask me for the names of any, so if anyone out there knows of a good one please PM me so at least I can give them a name and/or number!!!
As we all know, there are extroverted and introverted horses out there. One of mine is decidedly introverted and very hard to 'read'. I even had two experienced bowen therapist say just about the complete opposite of each other. I am trying to find someone who can diagnose if there is something wrong with him (and what) or if there is not. I have had all sorts of opinions from all sorts of specialists, as I said, rather difficult.
I can understand people in similar situations trying to get as much information as possible.
ill PM you now Holistic horse... i have the number of the lady i know
this is an incredibly interesting thread, I too am a sceptic, but one of my really good friends has had her horse 'read' and its quite interested and specific the things that the lady came out with. I think it would be interesting to do, purely from a curiosity point of view, not for a method to 'solve all problems' kinda idea...
would be very interested if anyone could pm me the contacts/details for some highly recommended people as Id love to get Dusk done for the hell of it!
i am a non believer, but hey each to his own, but i appreciate how people can learn to make money out of other people! I am with reroremedy a good trainer is an animal communicator!
We all communicate with our animals. Some are better than others. Whenever you are better at doing something than lots of other people it's only natural to market that. Whether it is worth paying for is decided by the customers I suppose.
ive had two ppl 'read' my horse. one i sought out as a bona fide 'animal communicator' and one was seeing my horse for physical issues, and they just happened to work intuitively. the second was MUCH more beneficial & spelt out a lot of things for me. i found it tremendously helpful. the first - not so much.
No they wouldnt Because unfortunately they cannot understand human talk they require a "cue" & "release" to know they have performed something correctly. A cue can be anything but as long as it is clear, consistent and gives the same results. The horse cannot decide on the "cue" because really it wouldnt matter what it was....it is just up to the human to be clear and consistent.
Do you mind PM me too? - Im curious now
That is correct and the funny thing is people think an "animal communicator" is fantastic when they just tell them something they had already worked out themselves! People should just have more faith in their "own" abilities! *#)
I suppose sometimes it takes someone else to put the picture together for us
I know Ive needed that from others before.
Your right though....confidence can be the big DOH! thing If only I had followed my gut......a dollar for every time
Its a very human thing to do
Well there you go Eoroe - take the credit for your own good judgment next time!
Confidence over-rates itself
